Our mission is to CARE by providing Community outreach and education, Access to cancer care, Resources for cancer patients and their families, and Education for the community and area healthcare professionals, regarding cancer prevention, early detection, screening and treatment options.
Services
At Columbus Cancer CARE Foundation we provide all kinds of services to patients who have been diagnosed with Cancer. We participate in Transportation for patients, Columbus Cancer Care Support Group, Bag It program, Gas Cards, the Cancer Resource Room, Marilyn's Hope, and Hotel Accommodations.
Columbus Cancer CARE Foundation positively impacts the lives of cancer patients and their families in 6 counties surrounding Columbus, Ne such as Platte, Nance, Boone, Colfax, Butler, & Polk Counties.
Transportation
We provide round trip rides free of cost to patients in need of cancer related appointments
Bag It
A personalized guidebook that empowers cancer patients and their care team by keeping their information organized and easily accessible.
Marilyn's Hope
Through the generosity of Roger Seefeld. We are able to provide electric lift chairs to patients.
Cancer Resource Room
We provide educational materials, wigs, and prosthetics breasts. We also have some hats, blankets, and scarfs.
